Operating in Bafra Organized Industrial Zone and making a name for itself with 45 years of experience, Damsan Makine Sanayi has become a leading brand in its sector with its projects in local production. The company was recently visited by Mr. H. Kaya Aşcı, the Chairman of the Samsun Civil Society Organizations Platform and Astaş Holding, who is also a prominent philanthropist from Bafra.

Damsan Şirketler Grubu Chairman of the Board, Mr. Serdal Sefa Kocabaş, welcomed Mr. Aşcı at the company’s entrance and expressed his satisfaction with the visit.

Mr. Serdal Sefa Kocabaş guided Mr. H. Kaya Aşcı through the company's premises and factory. During the tour, Kocabaş shared the success story of the company, its journey since its foundation, its vision, goals, and the added value it has contributed to the city and the country. He also provided information about the factory's operations.

Kocabaş stated:
“Damsan Makina Sanayi continues to be a significant value in exports for Samsun and its region. With our 45 years of experience, we shape the manufacturing industry and are expanding our export reach globally day by day. By closely following developing technologies, we focus on production and design processes that benefit our customers.

Today, we take pride in seeing locally manufactured ships sailing in the territorial waters of many countries. Our company has grown with us, and by closely following technological advancements, we aim to meet the needs of our customers with the highest quality services and production. At this point, we are proud to contribute significantly to the exports of not only Samsun and the region but also our country.

We have addressed our customers' needs by constructing fishmeal, fish oil, and feed factories, as well as manufacturing and repairing vehicle base equipment. Since we also cater to the maritime industry, we have started building fishing vessels. Following our initial production, our ships are now sailing not only in Turkish waters but also in countries such as Mauritania, Russia, and Abkhazia. Having DAMSAN-produced ships sailing in these countries is a source of pride for our company, our region, and our nation.”

After touring the facilities and observing the operations, Astaş Holding Chairman H. Kaya Aşcı expressed his admiration for the company.

Mr. Aşcı, after speaking about his own projects, companies, and collaborations with civil society organizations, remarked:
“I would like to congratulate the management, staff, and employees of Damsan Şirketler Grubu for your impressive work. I have been following your efforts and did not realize how much you have contributed to the Bafra region and our national economy. Everyone should believe that young entrepreneurs can also achieve great things. May your path be open, your work fruitful, and your success everlasting.”

The visit was also attended by Mr. Selçuk Aşcı, the Regional Coordinator of Astaş Jukı for the Black Sea region.
