The urban furniture manufacturing project initiated in collaboration with Bafra Municipality, Bafra Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, and Damsan has started to bear its first fruits.

Materials provided by Bafra Municipality and processed by Damsan were manufactured and assembled by the students of Bafra Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, making them ready for use.

School Principal Tarık Dursun Dinçer introduced the decorative benches and grass-like container protectors, produced in the first phase, to Bafra Mayor Hamit Kılıç, Damsan Makina Chairman of the Board Serdal Sefa Kocabaş, Bafra National Education Branch Managers Celal Karadeli and Yüksel Aydın, and Deputy Mayor Şaban Hüryaşar.

Bafra Mayor Hamit Kılıç stated, "Our student brothers and sisters have proven in a short time what they can achieve when given the opportunity. This project will add value to our city in many ways. I would like to thank the project stakeholders and everyone who contributed, especially our student brothers and sisters."

Serdal Sefa Kocabaş said, "I gladly accepted this project, which I see as highly significant for Bafra, Samsun, our region, and our country. I would like to emphasize that I am always ready to collaborate, especially in the field of education. As Damsan Makina Sanayi, we will be involved in every project. We will always participate in social responsibility projects, and I must express how emotional and happy I am to be a part of this one."

Highlighting the benefits of the project for Bafra, Kocabaş added, "This is an excellent project where our vocational high school students can develop themselves in a practical training environment at school. We are producing urban furniture as three stakeholders. Students will learn their profession, see what they have produced in the city, and take pride in their work. They will leave their mark for future generations. I am proud to be a part of such a valuable project. Hopefully, this project will set an example and inspire municipalities across Turkey. We will embrace this project and share it on every platform. We will add value to our city."
