Plaque from Samsun Technopark to Damsan

At the end of the 6th Technology Development Zones Coordination Meeting organized by Samsun Teknopark, a plaque was presented to Serdal Sefa Kocabaş, Chairman of the Board of Damsan, for his contributions.

The meeting, attended by Samsun Governor Osman Kaymak, took place at the Sheraton Grand Samsun Hotel. Speaking at the event, Governor Osman Kaymak stated, "Your efforts are very important. Turkey is truly a strong state on the international stage, aiming to reach the level of contemporary civilizations. Among its 2023 goals is achieving $500 billion in exports. When you are strong, you can also be strong on the international stage. The efforts of our universities and technoparks towards Turkey's development are very significant."

Following the speeches, plaques were presented to representatives of companies that contributed to the meeting by Governor Osman Kaymak, OMÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Sait Bilgiç, and the General Manager of R&D Incentives at the Ministry of Industry and Technology, Muhammet Bilal Macit.

The plaque for Damsan Chairman Serdal Sefa Kocabaş was presented by Muhammet Bilal Macit. After receiving the plaque, Serdal Sefa Kocabaş stated, "As Damsan Makina Sanayi, if we can contribute even slightly to the economy and industry of our city and country through our efforts and projects, we are proud. I would like to thank Governor Osman Kaymak, OMÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Sait Bilgiç, General Manager of R&D Incentives at the Ministry of Industry and Technology Muhammet Bilal Macit, Samsun Teknopark Chairman and OMÜ Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kuran, and General Manager of the Technology Development Zone Buğra Çolak, who have always supported us in our endeavors. I would also like to emphasize that Damsan is embarking on new projects."
