Damsan Makina Sanayi Chairman Serdal Sefa Kocabaş guided the delegation through the factory and provided information about its operations. Kocabaş stated, "Damsan Makina Sanayi continues to be a valuable asset for Samsun and the region in terms of exports. Today, we take pride in launching domestically produced vessels in the territorial waters of many countries. As a company growing alongside us, we strive to provide the highest quality service and production by closely following developing technologies to meet our customers' needs. We are proud to contribute significantly to the exports of our country as well as Samsun and its region.
We have met our customers' needs by constructing fishmeal, fish oil, and feed factories, manufacturing and repairing vehicle base equipment. Additionally, since we also serve the maritime sector, we have started producing fishing vessels. After our first production, today, Damsan-manufactured ships are sailing in our territorial waters and in many different countries. Particularly in Mauritania, Russia, and Abkhazia, having Damsan-built vessels in the waters is a source of pride for our company, our region, and our country."
The delegation, who toured Damsan Makina Sanayi’s facilities and observed its operations on-site, could not hide their admiration.
